TASMU WEBINAR
TASMU Digital Valley (TDV) together with Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZA) and Qatari-Russian Center for Cooperation organized 24th of September a webinar “Digital Investment Opportunities in Qatar” for Russian digital ICT companies interested in exploring the Qatar market to share key insights about key digital initiatives and opportunities in Qatar as well as the market potential for foreign investors.
The audience of the webinar was Russian digital companies of all sizes (startups, SMEs and MNCs) geared towards innovative solutions and emerging technologies. Webinar attended the participants from more than 40 companies.
TASMU Digital Valley (TDV) is an innovation cluster that connects entrepreneurs, startups, investors, academics, researchers, students, multinational corporations and institutions with the common goal of innovating new digital solutions. TASMU Smart Qatar established by the Qatar Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC), and its priority sectors are transport, logistics, environment, healthcare and sports.
As part of Qatar National Vision 2030, Qatar is actively focusing on diversifying from a hydrocarbon-based to a knowledge-based economy. Complementary to these efforts, major emphasis has been given to the development of the digital economy and various programs have been initiated to support these efforts.

Doha has been chosen as the host city for the 2030 Asian Games — the world’s second largest multi-sport event after the Olympic Games. The decision of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) was officially announced on December 16, 2020 in Muscat (Oman).

Doha Prize
The Doha Prize is an annual all-Russian contest in the Arabic language, which takes place from November 11 to December 17 2020. The competition is organized by the Cultural Creative Agency and the school of Arabic language, Qatar Arabic Language Center (QALC), in the framework of the (no) borders concept.
