WISH SESSION: “WOMEN IN INNOVATION” WITH RUSSIAN SPEAKERS
Russian women from HealthTech and MedTech fields took part in the WISH Session: «Women in innovation» which was held on the 19th November 2020.
50% of the world’s population are women, yet they are woefully underrepresented in the technology and health innovation sector.
The aim of the panel was to discuss the topics with leading Russian women innovators, who shared their experience and knowledge on their best practice.
The «Women in innovation» session was presented by the following speakers:

MD, PhD, Founder of Foundation for Cancer Research Support in Russia, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Directors

Head of the Laboratory of Postgenomic Studies at the Engelhardt Institute of Molecular Biology (EIMB), Russian Academy of Sciences

MD, PhD, HealthTech Expert and Consultant in the Biomedical Technology Cluster of Skolkovo Foundation
Due to the epidemiological situation the WISH Session was held online which provided additional opportunities to spread the materials among a wide audience all over the world.
The Session was initiated by Qatari-Russian Center for Cooperation (QRCC). The focus of QRCC is to promote multi-faceted and cross-sectoral bilateral relations between the two nations.

Doha Prize
The Doha Prize is an annual all-Russian contest in the Arabic language, which takes place from November 11 to December 17 2020. The competition is organized by the Cultural Creative Agency and the school of Arabic language, Qatar Arabic Language Center (QALC), in the framework of the (no) borders concept.
